SPEAKER BIO
ALEX OTTE
Lexington native Alex Otte was not expected to survive when a drunk boat operator slammed into her at nearly 70 mph at age 13. She proved doctors wrong and dedicated her life to making sure no other little girls suffer the trauma she did, helping improve drunk driving laws in Kentucky and advocating for victim rights. In 2021, Alex became the youngest-ever president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, where she serves national spokesperson and chief advocate for MADD.
