Student Information
Women Leading Kentucky serves the community by offering scholarships to women attending Kentucky colleges and universities. Since 2001 over $205,000 has been awarded. Winners will be announced in the summer of 2023. APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 5, 2024.

UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATION:
Each year Women Leading Kentucky awards multiple scholarships to female undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and are attending a Kentucky college/university. This one-time scholarship ranges from $1,000 – $1,500.
Qualifications:

- Demonstrated leadership abilities on campus/community
- Currently enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore or junior
- GPA of 3.0 or better
Scholarships are offered to students pursuing the following majors:

- Sports | Media
- Engineering
- Finance | Banking
- Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism
HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR APPLICATION:
Each year Women Leading Kentucky Board of Directors awards one scholarship to a deserving female senior attending a Kentucky High School who exhibits exceptional leadership. The recipient must attend a Kentucky college or university in the upcoming fall semester to receive the one-time scholarship award ranging from $1,000 – $1,500.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership abilities on campus/community
- High School senior enrolling in a KY college/university in the upcoming fall semester
- GPA of 3.0 or better
- Letter of recommendation from instructor, employer or community leader
Students pursuing any degree or major are welcome to apply.
